Day 79 - Tried Brown Sugar Boba Ice Cream

Image
I am so late in the game to the this famous trending Brown Sugar Boba Ice Cream! It was delicious! I went to buy it during the senior shopping time 8-9am in Chinatown with grandma. I had it for breakfast on this hot day! It was perfect! The curfew ends at 5am tomorrow!  My hawaii friend shared this new trend for today. Passing this along!  I just got this... started in LA - not sure how much it has gone viral in the Bay Area.... please forward to friends ! Peaceful, silent protest from home.  This Wednesday June 3rd, at 9:00 pm, for exactly 8 min and 46 seconds, let's shine a great light into the sky. That's the amount of time that Floyd had a knee on his neck, pleading for his life.  All we need to do is to go just slightly outdoors of your home (rooftop, front door/yard, back yard...) and turn on a flashlight, or emergency light, and point it to the sky for exactly 8 min and 46 seconds starting at exactly 9:00 pm. Let's get the entire city of San Francisco to do it...

Day 78 - #BlackoutTuesday

Today’s trending on social media. And then the curfew continues in case there are riots again tonight.

Day 77 - Jamie Foxx in town speaking with London Breed at City Hall

Today’s news has been sad and uplifting at the same time. The riots have been ruining cities around the world. Targeting stores downtown, high end shops, mom and pop shops, jewelry stores in Chinatown, and Walgreens pharmacies. At least the protests have been peaceful in San Francisco, but when night falls the rioting starts. The curfew continues, 8pm - 5am. I hope the vandalism, looting, hate, covid, everything bad ends soon. Everyone is on high stress and has high anxiety during this time. Stay safe all!

Day 76 - Mandatory city curfew 8pm - 5am

Image
Today is the day the city requires a mandatory curfew from 8pm - 5am due to last nights looting in the city. So sad, some places like jewelry stores in Chinatown and broken car windows, and downtown shops.  My first walk! A maintenance guy nodded his head to say hi and i smiled and forgot I have a mask on lol. I walked all the way to Crissy Fields and enjoyed every minute!
