Day 91 - Avocado Seeds

Image
I love 🥑! So i decided why not try growing them from seeds. It’s my first time and I’ve got 4 seeds on the windowsill. It’s been about 8 weeks and two finally rooted. Now I have to wait about 12 more years for a tree 😆!

Day 90 - My Legs Need a Tan

Image
Um I think my legs need a tan. Went out biking yesterday, some walks before, and have been wearing workout pants. This is how fast I tan now from SIP for so long. SIP tan.

Day 81 - Happy Donut Day!

Image
Happy Donut Day! I didn’t go out to buy any donuts so I ostared and drooled over donut pictures I have.

Day 80 - After Work walk

Image
It was such a nice day today! I took a walk to Pier 39 after work. Empty streets, boarded up businesses, homeless people screaming, joggers, bikers, and grocery shoppers out. First day the curfew ends and our city was fine. Let’s continue the peace and heal.

Day 79 - Tried Brown Sugar Boba Ice Cream

Image
I am so late in the game to the this famous trending Brown Sugar Boba Ice Cream! It was delicious! I went to buy it during the senior shopping time 8-9am in Chinatown with grandma. I had it for breakfast on this hot day! It was perfect! The curfew ends at 5am tomorrow!  My hawaii friend shared this new trend for today. Passing this along!  I just got this... started in LA - not sure how much it has gone viral in the Bay Area.... please forward to friends ! Peaceful, silent protest from home.  This Wednesday June 3rd, at 9:00 pm, for exactly 8 min and 46 seconds, let's shine a great light into the sky. That's the amount of time that Floyd had a knee on his neck, pleading for his life.  All we need to do is to go just slightly outdoors of your home (rooftop, front door/yard, back yard...) and turn on a flashlight, or emergency light, and point it to the sky for exactly 8 min and 46 seconds starting at exactly 9:00 pm. Let's get the entire city of San Francisco to do it...

Day 78 - #BlackoutTuesday

Image
Today’s trending on social media. And then the curfew continues in case there are riots again tonight.

Day 77 - Jamie Foxx in town speaking with London Breed at City Hall

Image
Today’s news has been sad and uplifting at the same time. The riots have been ruining cities around the world. Targeting stores downtown, high end shops, mom and pop shops, jewelry stores in Chinatown, and Walgreens pharmacies. At least the protests have been peaceful in San Francisco, but when night falls the rioting starts. The curfew continues, 8pm - 5am. I hope the vandalism, looting, hate, covid, everything bad ends soon. Everyone is on high stress and has high anxiety during this time. Stay safe all!

Day 75 - SpaceX, NASA launched U.S. astronauts to the International Space Station

Image
Today was history! Astronauts lifted off today to fly to the International Space Station! It was exciting to watch! There has been a lot of rioting In the U.S yesterday and today as well because of the death of George Floyd by a police man kneeling on his neck while handcuffed to the ground. So sad.

Day 74 - Walked The Embarcadero

Image
I took a quick stroll along Embarcadero to catch a few photos. It was a bit busy out in this nice weather. Hing around the Cupid’s Span area. Such a nice day! Washington Square Park was pretty busy.  Also took a look at the reopening timeline today. I’m still nervous to even walk around.

Day 73 - Masks required in San Francisco

Image
Breaking news today now requires us to wear face coverings within 30 ft. of other people. I still saw some people not wearing any masks. Today, I had grandma’s homemade cured pork belly. So delicious! I also forgot that I parked my car somewhere else. I scared grandma to a point she almost cried. As I called tow to find out my car wasn’t there and them telling me to report it stolen I then panicked and realized I had moved it haha. Huge brain fart!

Day 72 - Uncle Dropped Off Loquat

Image
Today, my uncle dropped off fresh picked Loquat from another uncle’s back yard! Delicious, fresh, and huge! I love homegrown fruits!  Also today, I found out one of my coworkers caught covid. I was wondering why he was gone for so long for being ill and was curious if he was ok. I don’t know any further details. I hope he recovers soon. Stay safe everyone! Take care!

Day 71 - Grandma made more masks

Image
Grandma made more masks! More options to change into. The bands are a bit thick but it still works.
