Day 74 - Walked The Embarcadero

Image
I took a quick stroll along Embarcadero to catch a few photos. It was a bit busy out in this nice weather. Hing around the Cupid’s Span area. Such a nice day! Washington Square Park was pretty busy.  Also took a look at the reopening timeline today. I’m still nervous to even walk around.

Day 49 - May the 4th be with you!

Image
Today is Star Wars Day! may the 4th be with you! It has been an eventful day! Took grandma to chinatown to pick up some fish her friend caught for her. Chinatown is busy! Some are lining up 6ft apart, some aren’t. It was a beautiful day!

Day 40 - #SingOutSF

Image
Today, I joined Tony Bennett and San Francisco citizens at 12pm for the singalong of “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” to celebrate the first responders! #SingOutSF https://www.kron4.com/news/bay-area/tony-bennett-invites-everyone-to-sing-i-left-my-heart-in-san-francisco-at-noon/

Day 37 - Closed San Francisco Streets

Image
San Francisco began closing some streets to allow for safer social distancing. So far I haven't driven in the last 10 days. I’ve heard there were signs put up.

Day 36 - Happy Earth Day!

Image
Happy Earth Day! My view of Coit Tower from the kitchen. Today’s lighting event is green to commemorate Earth Day.  So far, not driving has been keeping the air clean. Cheers to a cleaner earth!

Day 34 - Masks are now required

Image
Masks are now required when we’re outside for essential needs and follow the 6 ft. apart rule. Our mayor London Breed declared this active at midnight Friday, April, 17 at midnight. This is our new normal. We don’t know for how long. Stay safe everyone! More info here:   https://sf.gov/information/masks-and-face-coverings-coronavirus-outbreak

Day 27 - Covid-19 Shelter in Place Life in SF

Image
This is the start of my recording for the Covid-19 lockdown in San Francisco. It is a strange time for everyone. We are all living through a time in history. I hope everyone out there is staying safe! Happy Easter! 🐰 I should have started this earlier but a lot has happened since. So far I have been good with the Shelter in Place order in San Francisco. I’ve gone outside 4 times in the last month. Today, was a lazy Sunday. I’ve been binge watching Netflix, Nailed It. It’s a funny show that definitely helps bring up the mood. It even inspired me to bake some peanut butter cookies. It turned out pretty tasty, grandma approves. I’m beginning to find new activities to keep busy. Shelter in Place is expected to be extended again, so I'll have to improvise and change up my daily activities. This is now life.  More tomorrow, goodnight!
