Day 39 - Grocery Shopping

It’s been 2 weeks since grandma went out to grocery shop. Today’s the day to shop. She won’t allow me to take her or help her. She says it’s her workout walking to Chinatown with her trolley. Since her friends work at the stores, she calls to make the orders and goes to pick up groceries. Another reason why I can’t help because they will only meet with my grandma for the pick up. She left before I woke up today. Of course I’m terrified and just waiting with anxiety for her to come home. My workout is helping her carry all the groceries upstairs.

It’s such a nice day today! I’m sure grandma was hot shopping. She tells me, every time she goes out she wears two pairs of socks, two pairs of pants, layered on shirts and jackets for additional protection. She makes me laugh every time, looking like a marshmallow.

She came home with about 60 lbs worth of groceries that’ll last us for another two weeks.
